A great example of the amazing light that can be enjoyed in the northern part of the globe. The air is so clear and the sun takes so long to go beyond the horizon that it is a rewarding pleasure for the landscape photographer to shoot in such places. This dusk light over the bay of Timerä was captured towards the end of the winter, close to the town of Sundsvall on the western cost of Sweden. In the horizon can be seen the lighthouse of Granön island. This picture won 5th place in the Terre-Sauvage photography competition 2005.
