At 1255m of altitude, the Hongrin lake was created in 1968 following the construction of the Hongrin dam. Its waters feed the electrical power station of Veytoux located on the side of the famous Geneva lake, near the impressive Chillon castle. This picture won 8th place in the Terre-Sauvage photography competition 2005
