NEWSLETTER - 22 September 2011
Dear all,

The beautiful summer days are peacefully coming to an end, leaving place for the enchanted colours of autumn and its gorgeous lights, so well appreciated by us photographers. What an ideal time then, to come and share with you my latest photographic news.

A few days ago I was blowing out the first candle of my new working life as a professional landscape photographer. My goodness, one year already! And what a year, so rich in experiences and also so encouraging. Indeed my first steps into this new world could not have been better.

Many of you have come to share a photographic experience with me during my workshops, which keep receiving great success. All the places have been filled within a few weeks after the dates were published at the end of last year. So a BIG BIG thank you to all of you who have attended.

This first year as a professional has required a significant amount of administration work. This is why I have concentrated my shooting work mainly within Switzerland and I have only travelled a few days to the beautiful country of Croatia.

My need to immerse myself into nature and reach for the Alps summits is ever present in me and this summer, I have once again enjoyed photographing these amazing places. This type of work isn't without its difficulties, whether they are technical, physical or artistic as I always find very challenging to share all the sensations we can experience up there while climbing mountains, just via a photograph. The highlights of these outings this year have been the famous Haute Route, Dent Blanche and Pigne d'Arolla.

But in Switzerland, to see beautiful landscapes, it isn't necessary to go so high anyway, the charms of this country are so endless.
My assignment work for one of my biggest client reminds me all so well, wether it is when photographing the numerous picturesque old towns, the Swiss plateau countryside, the many rivers and lakes, or the low altitude mountains. And even the most famous and photographed places know how to show unseen faces, as the natural light and its infinite subtleties always manage to paint them in unique ways. This is certainly one thing I love about photography.

Regarding all these new images captured over the last few months, due to limited time available, I haven't yet managed to add them to my website. But note that an update of my photo gallery is imminent, in which you will be able to discover more than 100 new images. You will be informed via my next Newsletter as soon as it will be online. In the meantime, you can already enjoy a few of them in this Newsletter ;-).
