How can I find the words to express the infinite beauty of all the sceneries that continually unfold before my eyes over the years, whether they are close to my home in the Swiss Alps, or far away on the other side of the planet during my travels.

Whatever the subject: mountain, sea, plain, lake, river; whatever the moment, I am always amazed about the diversity and beauty of these landscapes that surround us. When I find myself immersed in nature, and it decides to offer me some of its spectacular light shows, I wish all the people of the world could be by my side enjoying the same thing I have the privilege to contemplate.

However, I am generally on my own, the hours at which these spectacles occur being mostly early in the morning or late at night, and furthermore, far from any commodities and often under uncomfortable weather conditions.

Photography allows me to keep the memory of these moments, and above all, to be able to share them with you, even if I know that my photographs will never do justice enough to a reality which I find indescribably beautiful.

It is in 2001 that I first discovered a passion for photography, following my first acquisition of a film SLR camera. A fully digital convert since, today my camera follows me everywhere.

One of my deepest satisfaction is to be able to share with you the splendours that surround us all, by capturing unique moments graciously offered by Mother Nature, despite all the abuse our modern world keeps inflicting on it. I can only hope that by showing its beauty, it will remind us how important it is to protect it.

Indeed spending so much time in contact with it and observing it with so much attention, make me deeply aware of all the environmental problems which we are facing.

Believing that my photographic work could help in its protection might sound utopian! But I believe that every little helps.

Meanwhile, my fine art prints find their way, day after day, into new homes all around the world. My photographs regularly receive awards in different international photo contests. I deal with world-renowned companies, and also with local businesses, tourist information centres, magazines, book and postcard editors, etc.

I hope that you will get as much pleasure from viewing these photographs as I get from taking them.
I wish you a very pleasant visit.
